This is how we live...d..??

Whoa so it's been about a month since my last post and I apologise for that...to the 2-3 people who read this :)

But how can I NOT comment on the events of last night. First of all, I've been walking around all day with a smile fixed to my face because I can't get over the sense of pride I felt last night for being part of such an amazing floor. It's hard to believe how so many fun, cool, smart, talented and committed people could be assigned to the same floor. I remember at one point this week, when we were discussing how another floor will probably win no matter what, I started feeling like all of the work that everyone did on the scrapbook and on last night was a waste of time. However, after seeing the video of what we did last night, I realize that the Floor of the Year contest was what brought us together to do this great thing, but that was the end of its importance. Now, even if we come in last place of the other floors who were nominated, we'll still always be able to look back on this fantastic thing that we were able to do together...preparing it in SUCH a short time.

Everyone really put the effort into this when it counted. Michael and "the Guy"....you both made me die of laughter the entire time....who knew how much enthusiasm you had inside?? The parts that you guys were in were among the best! (kudos to Justin for putting together the "TNT" skit without even being asked....funniest part of the entire thing in my opinion). All of the last minute preperations looked professional out there and that's because everyone went out there and worked it!!!

The sign....the lights.....the slide show...Ringo's amazing commentaries...they were all brilliant and made the presentation special. I like to think that we'll all end up having a copy of the video on our computers to look at next year.....a way to remember how we were, and how in a way we'll always be PEACHE!
